Writing an article for Phowto is a great way to help publicize your blog, photographic business or Flickr page. We always put a short bio underneath articles, and a link back to your web site.

Some guidelines for your article

• Aim for at least 300 words, it can be longer if you’ve got more to say
• Images are good. Please include some screenshots if you are showing something on your computer (or even a video). Photographs that explain a technique are a good way to make things easy to understand
• Make sure your article is all your own work. You can include images from elsewhere, but make sure you abide by any copyright conditions, and supply the information necessary so that they can be correctly attributed
• We may carry out some minor editing, in order get your article to fit in with the general style of Phowto
