I nearly missed getting my photo for today. I suspect that this is the first hurdle that many photo-a-day projects hit.
It’s been a busy day, and it was only after we’d had our evening meal that I remembered it was day 4. Oops. No natural light left.
So I ran through the day, thinking about the events, and visualising all the things that I’d done. I remembered one item particularly, as it was particularly graphically strong.
My son has reached the age where he wants to copy us, and use the wash basin to clean his hands. Unfortunately, he hasn’t yet reached the height where he can get his hands into the basin, so we bought him a foot stool to stand on.
It is covered in rubber ‘pimples’ to help his little feet grip, which have a great texture.
I used a tripod and lit it from the side with a desk lamp.
This photo is part of my photo-a-day project, aiming to shoot a photo every day of April, to improve my photography.
