Into tilt-shift photography? You’re going to love this

‘The Sandpit’ is a stunning achievement of psuedo tilt-shift photography.

Sam O’Hare shot the short film of New York as a series of stills on his Nikon D3. 35,000 stills. He’s achieved an amazing effect using post-production tilt-shift effects, and making a feature of only being able to shoot at 4 frames per second, of a scale model.

By slowing the frame rate down even further, the boats on the water look like some of the children’s animation programmes I used to watch on TV as a kid.
